Bible Encounter Group

Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday, you will find us taking a deeper look at the Bible, with Paul and Maranda. From 7pm in Christ Church- where else better to learn what different passages mean.

When you step into the church, you will be greeted by smiles, and informed what we will be studying that week.

From Parables, to Miracles, its all covered.

This group setting is great for those who are new in their faith- as we have friends who are extremely knowledgeable in their scripture!

Bring your Bible

It is encouraged that you bring your own bible, but if you don't- there are plenty to borrow- including a selection of Bibles in different languages, including Spanish, and Persian- as well as many more.

Everyone is welcome.

The Study

Once you are settled in, someone will be chosen to read the evenings scripture, and then we discuss what we think it means, the symbolic wording, and the teachings.

We are also asked questions to deepen our understanding of the Bible and all it has to teach us.

There is no pressure to answer any question, but all feedback is valuable- and it's ok to disagree.

Time to pray

We finish the evening with prayer.

We are asked if there is a person or a situation that we would like to pray for, it is noted down, and we pray over them, as well as giving thanks for the lessons we have learned during the course of the evening.
